1. Personal data we collect
When you sign in to the App using your LinkedIn account and authorize access through LinkedIn, we may collect and process the following personal data:
- first name;
- last name;
- email address;
- LinkedIn identifier;
- profile photo.
We may also process limited technical data necessary for the operation and security of the App, such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, and error logs.
2. When data is collected
LinkedIn profile data is collected only when a user chooses to sign in or connect their LinkedIn account and explicitly authorizes access through LinkedIn’s authorization flow. It is not collected merely because someone visits the website or opens a page of the App.
A normal visit to the website may still result in the collection of basic technical server data, such as logs, where necessary for security and service operation.
3. How we use your data
We use your personal data to:
- authenticate you through LinkedIn;
- create and manage your user account;
- provide and maintain the App’s functionality;
- connect your LinkedIn account to the App;
- communicate with you regarding service-related matters, support, or security;
- protect the App against misuse, fraud, and unauthorized access;
- comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- performance of a contract, where processing is necessary to provide the App to you;
- consent, where you choose to connect your LinkedIn account and authorize access to your profile data;
- legal obligation, where processing is required by applicable law;
- legitimate interests, including service security, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and legal defense, provided such interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.
5. LinkedIn authentication and permissions
The App uses LinkedIn authentication and accesses only the information that you explicitly authorize during the LinkedIn sign-in process. We request only the permissions necessary for the App to function.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share your personal data only with:
- hosting and infrastructure providers;
- security, logging, and technical support service providers;
- professional advisers, where necessary;
- public authorities or regulators, where required by law.
This includes Hetzner, which may be used as a hosting and infrastructure provider for the App.
All third-party service providers process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide their services to us and under appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.
7. International transfers
If personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, where required by applicable law.
8. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
- Account and LinkedIn profile data are retained for as long as the user account remains active and for up to 12 months after the user’s last activity in the App, or until the user requests deletion, whichever occurs first.
- Authentication and access-related data, including session records and LinkedIn access tokens, are retained only for as long as necessary to maintain secure access to the App. Access tokens are stored until they expire or are revoked, and related authentication records are retained for up to 90 days, unless a longer retention period is required for security or legal reasons.
- Logs and security records are retained for up to 12 months from the date of collection, unless a longer retention period is required to investigate security incidents, prevent fraud, or comply with legal obligations.
If you request deletion of your account or personal data, we will delete or anonymize your data unless we are required to retain certain information by law.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable data protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.
11. Children
The App is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals who are not legally permitted to use the service under applicable law.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where required, provide additional notice.
